Nazuri Curls Kinky Straight

Summer’s here and I was ready for a new, easy breezy hair style. I’ve been rocking Nazuri Curls Kinky Straight hair extensions for two weeks now and honestly I’m in LOVE! This hair type mimics blow-dried or straightened natural hair and it’s perfect for girls looking for texture but not wanting to deal with the (let’s be honest) high maintenance that curly/kinky hair requires.

Hair Details: I’m wearing a custom wig with a free-style 14″ closure, one bundle of 16″ and one bundle of 18″. The Kinky Straight hair type has no shrinkage and comes really long, and it’s super dense. I took these pictures right after a brand new wash but after a few days it starts to bulk up so you honestly wouldn’t need more than two bundles. (unless if you wanted to go longer than 18″ or not use a closure)

Maintenance: I’ve been loving this hair, it’s completely “shake and go” meaning I wake up in the morning shake it (ok I brush it lol) and I’m good. Half way through the day I’ll brush it again to keep it under control with a paddle brush or a denman brush. Depending on how I’m feeling I might put some argan oil on it for shine. Oh and like I do with all my hair (including mine) I try to wash and deep condition weekly. I’ve tried curling and straightening this hair too and it’s lovely and reverts easily once wet. I didn’t seal my wefts but I also didn’t cut my wefts when I was making my wig so I’ve found shedding to be minimal and virtually no tangling.
